STATEMENT OF POLICY

Background:

The RealEstateAcademy.com is approved by the NY Department of State for the purpose of offering the Independent Study courses.

Requirements for Completing the Course:

To complete the course and receive your Education Certificate, you must successfully complete the following requirements:

1. Complete ALL lessons online or on the CD-ROM by answering each question correctly at least twice. Most questions are timed and need to be answered within the prescribed time for credit.
2. Return your Certification Statement to the school.

Grading

Grading for all courses is Pass/Fail. Students must answer all questions correctly in order to receive a passing grade.

Certification

Upon completion of a course, you will receive an Education Certificate. In the event the certificate is lost, a duplicate may be obtained from the RealEstateAcademy.com offices by written request. An administrative fee may be charged for the duplicate.

Course Completion

All courses must be completed within six months from date of purchase or from date of re-enrolling.

Recruiting

No recruiting for employment opportunities for any real estate brokerage firm is allowed in this class or on the school premises. Report promptly any effort to recruit by anyone to the RealEstateAcademy.com Director at 212.262.2662.

Non Discrimination

The RealEstateAcademy.com will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, religion, national origin, handicap, or familial status in the establishment of fees, entrance qualifications, or standards for successful completion of any course.

Returned Checks

Any student who has a returned check due to insufficient funds will be assessed a service charge.

Refunds

If within ten days of the date of purchase you decide to return your course, you will receive a full refund less any shipping and handling charges, as long as the course; materials are returned complete, unopened and reusable. A refund will be issued within ten (10) days of receipt of returned material. NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE OR CREDIT GIVEN AFTER THE TEN-DAY PERIOD HAS EXPIRED.
